Refund Policy

We aim to be clear and fair. This Refund Policy explains when you can cancel, when refunds may apply, how we calculate them for milestone-based work, and what exceptions exist for customized services and digital content. Effective date: 15 September 2025.

2) Cooling-off period (consumers)

If you are a consumer in the UK/EU purchasing at a distance, you may have up to 14 calendar days from order confirmation to cancel without giving a reason, subject to the exceptions below. If service work has begun at your request within the cooling-off period, you may be charged proportionally for work performed up to cancellation.

Exceptions:

  • Customized services fully performed with your prior express consent and acknowledgment you would lose the right to cancel once performance began.
  • Digital content supplied in a non-tangible form once access/download has started with your express consent and acknowledgment that you waive the right to cancel.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights.

3) Milestone-based refunds (services)

For projects billed by milestones or phases, cancellations and refunds are calculated as follows unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • Before work starts: 100% refund of fees paid for future work, excluding any non-recoverable third-party costs.
  • During a milestone: pro‑rata refund for unperformed work in that milestone. Work-in-progress and delivered assets for completed portions remain payable.
  • Completed milestones: non‑refundable once accepted or delivered in accordance with the brief.

Discovery/pre‑production fees that result in deliverables (e.g., style guides, research summaries) are non‑refundable after delivery.

4) Digital content and downloads

Where digital content is provided (e.g., templates, design files), refunds are generally not available once access or download has started, if you consented to immediate supply and acknowledged losing the right to cancel.

5) How to request a refund

Email info@igamel.homes with:

  • Your name and contact details
  • Order/quote reference and date
  • What you’re requesting (cancel, refund) and reason

We usually acknowledge within 2 business days and provide a decision within 7–10 business days, subject to verifying the request and project status.

6) Refund method and timing

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing times depend on your bank or provider (typically 5–10 business days after we issue the refund). We’ll notify you when it’s processed on our side.

7) Non-refundable items/fees

  • Third‑party expenses already incurred on your behalf (e.g., licensed assets) where non‑refundable to us.
  • Rush fees for expedited work once the rush window has begun.
  • Completed milestones and delivered digital content as outlined above.

8) Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback, we may pause work and communications through the payment provider until resolved. We’ll provide evidence of delivery and communications as needed. We recommend contacting us first so we can help resolve issues promptly.

9) Business customers

Where services are purchased by a business, consumer cooling‑off rights may not apply. Refunds then follow the signed agreement and this policy’s milestone rules unless otherwise agreed.

Pro‑rata
